Unedited and in full length: the debanking conference in the European Parliament

That was the debanking conference in the European Parliament in Brussels. Listen to the entire speech by Elsa Mittmannsgruber and all other invited guests, unedited and in full length. Debanking threatens us all – that's why Elsa Mittmannsgruber was at the European Parliament in Brussels to fight against it. Banks are arbitrarily closing accounts – because people are inconvenient, because their views don't fit the desired narrative. Families, businesses, associations and independent media are losing their financial livelihoods from one day to the next. Without justification. Without any real chance to defend themselves. A perfidious instrument of political control. Talking openly about this is often considered taboo. This taboo has now been broken in the European Parliament in Brussels. At the invitation of MEP Stephen Bartulica, Elsa Mittmannsgruber, a journalist with AUF1, reported on her own experiences with debanking, those of her brother-in-law and the dramatic situation of AUF1.tv, which has already lost more than 15 accounts in the EU. Other victims and experts also spoke alongside her: • Caroline Franssen, women's rights activist, whose accounts and PayPal were blocked • Jorge Jraissati, economist and human rights activist • Nick Anthony, political analyst and financial expert from the Cato Institute Their message was clear: - Debanking is much bigger and more dangerous than most people realise. - It is only denied because the victims remain silent. - Politicians and media outlets loyal to the system exploit this silence to continue unobserved. But the silence has been broken: debanking has become visible and audible in the European Parliament. All participants made it clear: this terror must end.
